For clients
A plain explanation, written for you rather than for them.
A short set of questions about how the week is actually going. Not a form, not an intake packet. It takes a minute.
Journaling, at 2am if that is when it lands. You do not have to hold it until Thursday.
Whatever your therapist sends over, you can do it inside the app with support rather than finding a worksheet in a bag on Wednesday.
988 and a text line are always reachable in the app, and a flag reaches a person. That is a floor, not the plan — in an emergency, call 988 or go to an emergency department.
It is not your therapist. There is an AI companion in it, and your therapist set the rules it follows — what it can talk about, what it does when something sounds urgent, what comes back to them. It does not make clinical decisions and it does not pretend the relationship belongs to it. Your therapist is still the person doing the work with you.
It is not a test. Nobody is scoring your streak. If you use it three times in a month, your therapist learns something from that too.
It is not a crisis service. If you are in danger, call or text 988, or go to your nearest emergency department.
You did not buy it. Your therapist did — it is part of their practice, and there is nothing for you to pay here.
You can ask your therapist exactly what they see, what the companion is permitted to discuss, what happens to what you write, and what would make it escalate to a person. Those are all reasonable questions and none of them are rude.
If you would rather not use it, say so. It is a tool your therapist offered, not a condition of working with them.
They set this up, they wrote the rules it follows, and they can tell you exactly what they see. If anything here made you uneasy, that is a good thing to bring to your next session — it is the kind of thing the session is for.
In crisis right now? Call or text 988, or go to your nearest emergency department. VibeCheck.luxury is not a crisis service.
